Welcome the model and artist: Buel

Born and raised in Turkey, BUEL is an indie-pop artist based in Los Angeles.  She started singing when she was 4 and went on to write/arrange her own songs soon after.  She started to play in public when she was 12, first playing piano, and then singing as a member of the school band. Around the same time, she also began writing short stories and essays that were eventually published in her school's magazines as well as local newspapers.  These compositions would go on to become the source for some of her cryptic lyrics.  She taught herself how to play guitar when 15, drawing inspiration from Sixpence None The Richer, The Cranberries, Nirvana, and Mazzy Star.  These bands continue to have an influence on BUEL's musical palate.  BUEL spent most of her high school years playing cover songs, while not playing many originals.  Eventually, she finally played her original compositions as a singer/songwriter in the early years of college and formed her own band named Boot.

Despite gaining some attention from local media, BUEL decided she didn't want to live in Turkey and gave herself the stage name BUEL, with the intention of launching a music career outside of Turkey.  She released a single with an accompanying video entitled Peace of Mind in 2015, about 2 months before she graduated from college.  While making plans to move to the United States after graduation, the track caught the attention of a music manager from Dayton, Ohio.  Upon connecting BUEL with a label and a producer, this was BUEL's first foray into the American music business.  After living an adventurous 5 months in Ohio, BUEL was able to build a considerable following in Dayton.  While she loved the opportunities this presented her, BUEL always knew that the heart and soul of the music business was in Los Angeles.  Deciding to a take a "hit the ground running" approach, she played live in LA the night she moved to the city.  Outside of Los Angeles, BUEL has also had the privilege of sharing her music in Miami, Austin, Orlando, and Phoenix at various bars, clubs, and festivals. As we speak right now she has three upcoming shows to be performed:

-18th of November- Los Globos at 7.30pm-Opening for Mor ve Otesi (one of her favorite bands)

-30th of November The Study at 7 pm

-13th of December The Viper Room 8 pm.

As we can see right now, she is a promising young artist with real passion for music and dedicates her efforts into the process with the faith that music is the way. Many have embarked in the musical journey but later on decided to chess other things because of the hectic wave therewith,we see many of them saying it was too much to handle especially in this era were everyone is a musician due to the technology we have but surprisingly Buel is different, she never lets go of what she wants, which should be the spirit to every ambition and dream. She got a couple of magazine reviews so far that tells how hard she is working towards her dream for example the Chimera Magazine:

Currently, BUEL is working on her debut EP, slated for release in early 2019
